Managing safely is for managers and supervisors in any sector, and any organisation. It's designed to get managers up to speed on the practical actions they need to take to handle health and safety in their teams.

The course involves hands on use of the actual locators to detect and trace the route of buried services. This will cover the different types of buried services that exist, current legislation and best practice concerning detecting buried services, the safety implications of not using a locator and associated ancillary equipment, use of local utility plans, observation of evidence in the street etc.

This course concentrates on the legal requirements for risk assessments in the organisation and the assessments and practical application. This course will give delegates the ability to carry out suitable and sufficient risk assessments

This course covers the role of the designated Fire Marshal. It also gives you the opportunity to learn about the different types of fire extinguisher and how to use them correctly. The course will give the delegates the ability to identify fire hazards, take charge in the event of a fire and understand the need for fire precautions.

This course provides key information required to candidate to ensure they are able to make an informed decision in regards to the qualification they are undertaking.

Learning takes place through a mix of presentations, group discussions and workshop activities We limit numbers to 16 people per course so that the instructor can keep people safe and supported while they learn

This course is designed to help the individual understand their responsibilities within the workplace and is aimed at persons working with Abrasive Wheels. It is a legal requirement under The Provision And Use Of Work Equipment 1998 (PUWER) that all staff who use abrasive wheels receives training in the safe use of the tools and changing of wheels.

To provide delegates with the practical knowledge and skills to identify the selection, use, storage, maintenance and inspection of Ladders, Harnesses and Lanyards. It also covers all the relevant health & safety laws including Working at Height Regulations 2005.
